Happy Place

We are back from the beach, back to reality. It was very relaxing. I took a few of my favorite magazines with me on the beach and this home feature of Steele Marcoux's cottage in the February 2011 issue of Southern Living still has me in awe.

I love so much about this living room. So simple and soft cheerful colors. The lovely turquoise velvet sofa with the huge lumbar pillow (I need that pillow), the jute rug from West Elm, and the coffee table from Target.

It just screams home right when you walk in the front door. Here is another view of the living room with a gorgeous secretary desk.....

To sink my little toesy in the white sandy beaches of Florida for some MUCH needed rest and relaxation!!! Be back soon.

The weather has been quite enjoyable the past few days. Lovely weather always makes me dream of the great outdoors. I can not wait till my garden is in full bloom (it's getting close). Here are so inspiring outdoor spaces I would love to have in my backyard someday.......
