Just keeping it real - this mommy stuff is hard (it's not for the faint of heart I tell you). Don't get me wrong I have moments of pure bliss and ecstasy and I feel so blessed and in love. But they are also mixed in with the moments your eyes rolling behind from being tired and the endless poop and feedings.

The Heart Knows
When opportunity knocks you answer the door - right? Ahhh but change is hard; change is also inevitable. Sometimes you just have to follow your heart, answer the door, and give it a try!!!!

"Peace. It does not mean to be in a place
where there is no noise, trouble or hard work,
it means to be in the midst of those things
and still be calm in your heart." -unknown

Just a Thought

QUOTE
I love this quote from Sir Arthur Ignatius Conan Doyle, he was the brain child behind creating the famous character of Sherlock Holmes. O the hours of entertainment those famous crime fictions provided to so many people. I could not have said it better myself, the bottom line is life is great but it can get down right strange at times. Even in his wildly creative mind he could never invent this crazy beautiful life we live. Have a great weekend!!!

If Only...
IF
If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you
But make allowance for their doubting too,
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise.
If you can dream--and not make dreams your master,
If you can think--and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools.
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it all on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breath a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on!"
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings--nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;
If all men count with you, but none too much.
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And--which is more--you'll be a Man, my son!
--Rudyard Kipling

Happy Friday!!
To everything there is a season,
and a time to every purpose under heaven.

I saw this cute little poster on Etsy. Very fitting being Friday, and the next few weekends I have lined up are going to be a blast!! My friend is getting married to a great guy tonight, then a canoeing trip with all my first cousins, next friday is the big Rod Stewart concert at the Woodlands, and the next weekend is my honey's birthday bash. This moment, this little life I live is VERY happy!!! Now if I could just figure out how to fast forward through work, and press play on just the good parts.
