One Entire Year
My husband and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary on Sunday. It was a great time to look back on our first year together and look ahead to living out our dreams, and growing our family!!
We both agreed that our first year has been delightful and easy - Britt says its because he is a push over, I say its because I found my soul mate and married the right guy!!!!

Wedding Ceremony
I put our pictures from the wedding ceremony on video. I'll be honest with you guys this song playing in the background always make me cry. I don't know why but the instant it starts the tears start. Yes I cried the entire time I made this video. Hope you enjoy, and have a great weekend!!!!!

Going To The Chapel
Good morning. I hope you are enjoying my jam packed week of wedding picks!!! The next line up is the church: Saint Mary Magdalen. I knew at a young age that I wanted to get married in this church. I was baptized and confirmed in this very place, so it was only fitting that I get married here. Not to mention that it is grand and beyond beautiful.
I Must Have Done Something Good
Ahhh to be madly in love with such a wonderful man!!!! Here are a few more pictures from our wedding to get you through hump day. It's official....... Sweetness, Cuteness, Awesomeness!!!
My wedding photographer just sent me a little teaser from our wedding pictures!! My little blue eyed bombshell niece "The Flower Girl" has stolen the whole show, and rightfully so.......
When my sister noticed she was crying she asked her "why the tears?" Emily answered "I am just so happy for my Nanny." Their are no words for how much I love this little girl, and no words for how happy I am I did not miss this moment. Priceless!!!
"Tears are words the heart can't express"
My florist did a fantastic job, the flower girl was decked out with tons of beautiful FLOWERS!!!! The pomander ball of white roses and her headpiece were so perfect. She took exactly what was in my head and made it come to life. I don't think I will be able to wait much longer for the rest of the pictures!!! This is so exciting.

Shore Was Fun!!
We are back (insert sad face here) it has taken every ounce of energy I have to get back into the swing of things. We had the perfect wedding!!! Every expectation and each little dream I had about this special day came to fruition. We stood before God and all our friends and family and committed our lives to one another. It was magical, elegant, emotional, romantic, and tons of fun. It is day 10 of happily ever after and each day gets better.

Mrs. Britt Guillory
Finally!!!! I know that's what our families are saying. We are married and off to rest on pink sands for our honeymoon. The day was beyond fabulous and I have never been so happy and in love!!!
There are three things that last: faith, hope and love,
and the greatest of these is love.

How Sweet It Is
Today is my future husband's birthday, and I feel bad with all the wedding planning celebrating another year of his beautiful life has been swept under the rug. I have promised him that next year will be amazing, and all about him. We are both getting married in our 30's which by some society standards would be considered late, but for us it is perfect. Everyone used to ask me that dreaded question that singles always get "So when are you getting married?" And I would always respond "When I find someone I can not live without." Well I could not imagine living my life without Britt he truly is my soul mate that I waited so patiently to find. Well, I waited patiently most of the time other times I thought God had forgotten my address. So cheers to another wonderful year with you, cheers to being your wife in 8 days!!!!! I can not freakin wait to marry you!!!!
So back to the wedding planning. The past few days have been fun because we started working on the candy bar that will serve as party favors for our guest to take home. I love candy and have a big sweet tooth so this little planning detail was a blast. It's coming along great and I thought I would share some of my inspiration for our sweet little project.
The blog post will be scarce for the next few weeks. But I will be back to my old ideas, inspiration, and projects after I get settled into being a MRS.

Bella Bride
Well it all started when I ordered some samples of some expensive letterpress invitations and I have fallen in love and have to have them. They are so beautiful words really do not do them justice, and nothing else I have looked at compares. I love and adore all things Bella Figura. A bold statement I know but they are first class all the way.
Here is your history lesson for the day:
Letterpress printing is a term for the relief printing of text and image using a press with a "type-high bed" printing press and movable type, in which a reversed, raised surface is inked and then pressed into a sheet of paper to obtain a positive reight-reading image. It was the normal form of printing text in the west from its invention by Johannes Gutenberg in the mid-15th centry until the 19th century and remained in wide use for books and other uses until the second half of the 20th century (found on wikipedia).
Calligraphy is a type of visual art. It is often called the art of fancy lettering. A contemporary definition of calligraphic practice is "the art of giving form to signs in an expressive, harmonious and skillful manner" (found on wikipedia).
Calligraphy first appeared around 600 BC in Rome, and I won't bore you with all the juicy details of the history and preservation of this fascinating art form.
Our beautiful, lovely, amazing wedding invitations have arrived. We only have two months left till the big day and I can not wait to drop these little babies in the mail.

Home Plate
It's a very important decision, one that I will have to live with for a lifetime. What China pattern do we pick for the wedding? I have gone back and forth between plain, designs, white, platinum, gold??? I absolutely fell in love with Michael Aram Jaipur Design but could not find a store that had it for show and tell. I could not make this choice without putting my hands on it, so I bit the bullet and ordered this adorable accent plate just for my grimy little fingers to touch. The verdict: LOVE. It's from Waterford and the quality and details are breathtaking. I can not wait to get the place settings and have lovely romantic dinners in our courtyard. Life is to short to wait for special occasions, I will get my use out of these beauties.
Accent Plate
The description: "Add sophisticated contrast to the table with this versatile accent plate from the Jaipur collection by Michael Aram for Waterford. Featuring a brilliant window motif evocative of a lush chrysanthemum."
I am sold!!!
5 Piece Place Setting
The description: "Transform your table into a sweeping ode to the East. Jaipur by Michael Aram for Waterford expertly distills the essence of India's resplendent architecture in fine bone china enhanced with glistening platinum."
Who writes these things?
The designer is a true craftsman, he has a home in India and first traveled there in 1988. Jaipur is the capital and largest city of the Indian state Rajasthan, and the first planned city of India. The details of the china collection are inspired by the architecture of this age old city.
Complete and utter eye candy, I can not believe I get to own this!!!!
And because I love history and the story behind it, here are some pictures of the architecture that I am sure inspired Mr. Aram.....
This is the City Palace of Jaipur, also called the Palace of the Winds.
I love the fine trelliswork and intricate balconies.
Amber Fort - do you see the resemblance?
