Not Just Yet

So I have gone back and forth for the past few months on giving up my sweet little blog. It's become more of a chore than a source of delight for me. But I am just not ready to give up, so I have decided to do a least one blog post a month to keep things going. If the inspiration hits me I might come back full force.

Lots have been happening in our house since I have been absent from my blog. We are expecting another bundle of joy the first week in November. A little brother for Michael, 2 lovely boys 22 months apart. We are thrilled, nervous, excited and overwhelmed all at the same time.

So with a new baby coming in 3 months that means I get to decorate a new room!!!! We have cleared out the guest bedroom and will start adding bits a pieces to it in the coming months to turn it into a nursery or big boy room for Michael. 

Here is the inspiration for the room. An old antique rusty metal bed frame that was my husbands bed when he was a boy. The frame is being sandblasted and refinished a nice bronze color as we speak. Tonight I start painting an old dresser and more cleaning.
